I despise that kind of attitude - I’ve spent so long trying to figure out why I am feeling nuts for two weeks of the month…and thinking that PMS was just an exscuse, that when I finally read about PMDD, it was like someone opened a big, wonderful door and said “You can have a break now…” Unless you have been there, you simply cannot understand…Hang in there and don’t let anyone persuade you to be super human and ignore this!

Menopausal. I am so jealous of that, but am sorry you are still PMS’ing. That sucks.

Oh my yes. I’m guessing you’ve never been on the minipill, but that hair-trigger temper was constant. There is no way that was all in my head or an excuse to be bitchy.

I do suffer from PMS (horrible bouts of weepiness, mild depression, raging moods, etc.) I also have terrible cramps and nausea during my periods b/c I have TWO uteruses (uteri?). I have had women, and even doctors, tell me the cramps/nausea are ‘in my head’. It’s amazing we don’t cause them bodily harm, isn’t it? Empathizing with you on your dark day…sara

Hey! I know that particular hell. And “luckily” with my PCOS I’ve been known to have this type of PMS for up to 3 weeks in a really long drawn out cycle. Yea me(sarc)! I have been looking up homeopathic treatments PM me at NOTI if you wanna know them. I’m actually going to go refresh my memory.
